The inspiration for this design was admittedly drawn from Imogene + Willie’s graphic tee collection. I’ve been a fan for years, and I felt the western imagery and bold iconography paired well with my musical brand. I set out to create a design that also captured these traits without being too direct an imitation. So far no one has seemed to make the I+W connection, but the shirt was received well by fans.
